Tough times requires tough measures, I always knew that phrase. These times have defined the meaning too and this time I din't need any teacher to explain me the same. So here we are, 10 things that you should be doing to avoid your LayOff aka rose slip, obviously with not so good flavour:

1. Kiss up and boast, doesn't work always though
2. Work harder & smarter
3. Try to shift your job to the department that's company's bread & butter
4. Create dependency by taking extra responsibility & deliver the same, work extra hours
5. Be in good relation with your boss, his boss etc .. etc..
6. Bridge the gaps, if any gaps created
7. Talk about company positively & demonstrate your company's values
8. Stay visible to the crowd, more you hide heigher is the chance of getting you
9. Keep cool and be friendly, avoid rumors, neither create one
10. If its part of your role, give ideas to your superior how to improve productivity.
